Russia will produce more than 100 aircraft annually from 2026. All decisions for financing the industry have been made, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking with a report in the State Duma. This is reported by TASS.
"All decisions on the necessary amount of financing for the industry have been made. Now the main thing is not to reduce the pace gained, including the modernization of production lines. Since the twenty-sixth year, we plan to launch the production of more than 100 Russian aircraft of various modifications per year," he said.
Mishustin noted that the first flight of the SSJ100 aircraft with a domestic PD-8 engine, as planned, will take place in the next three months. The Russian Federation also successfully conducted flight tests of IL-114 prototypes and the Baikal aircraft, certified the PD-14 engine and the composite wing on the MC-21.
Earlier it was reported that the government allocated more than 237 billion rubles for the implementation of projects in the field of aircraft construction. Over the next two years, over 32 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes.
