A private Mi-8 helicopter with ten people on board made an emergency landing near Topkhan Mountain in the Kemerovo Region, one person died and another was injured, the emergency services told TASS on Monday.

"A private Mi-8 helicopter crash-landed near Topkhan Mountain in the Mezhdurechensky district. There were ten people on board. As a result, one person died and another one was injured," the services said.

According to them, the second helicopter, which was flying together with the Mi-8, had already taken the victim to the Mezhdurechensky district and then flew back to get the injured person. A helicopter from Gorno-Altaisk is also expected to arrive at the accident site to evacuate the remaining eight people in the helicopter.
