US’ North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) jet fighters scrambled on Tuesday, February 14, over Tu-95MS bombers, Su-35 and Su-30 jet fighters flying near Alaska, the NORAD press office said Thursday.
"NORAD detected, tracked, positively identified and intercepted four Russian aircraft approaching the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone on February 14, 2023," the press office said on Twitter. "The Russian aircraft included TU-95 BEAR-H, SU-30 fighter aircraft and SU-35 fighter aircraft.".
