Aeroflot operated first regular flight SU204 to new Beijing Daxing International Airport. From 15 February, flights to China’s capital are operated three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays.
Roman Kharchenko, General Representative of PJSC “Aeroflot” in China, said: “Today marks a milestone as China’s new airport welcomed inaugural Aeroflot flight. It is a big honour for us that Aeroflot was the first airline among Russian and international carriers to transfer its services to Beijing Daxing, the largest and cutting-edge airport. Our passengers will surely appreciate the new airport’s high level of comfort”.
Following the relaxation of Covid travel restrictions the carrier increases the frequency of regular flights to other points in the PRC. From 15 February, Aeroflot operates three weekly flights to Shanghai (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays) and Guangzhou (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Sundays). Besides, weekly services to Chengdu continue to be operated (on Fridays). All routes between Moscow and the cities in China are operated with Boeing 777-300ER widebody aircraft.
