Russia and Laos are holding negotiations on the possibility for Russian airlines to make an intermediate stop in Laos, head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neradko told reporters on Tuesday.
"Our colleagues from Laos are eager that a Russian airplane flying, let’s say, from Russia to Thailand, makes an intermediate stop in Laos to take extra passengers on board. Companies are currently studying this route," Neradko said.
More than fifty foreign air carriers are flying to Russia, while Russian airlines are performing flights to twenty two countries, Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev said earlier.
