Russia delivering S-400s to India within stipulated dates, says developer

Deliveries of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to India are being carried out in accordance with the terms stipulated in the contract, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev told TASS at the Aero India 2023.

"Rosoboronexport is fulfilling the contract within the stipulated dates," Mikheev said when asked when the next batch of S-400s is expected to be delivered to India.

In 2015, India announced its intention to purchase Russia’s S-400s. The contract to supply five batches of S-400 systems worth $5.43 billion was signed during Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India in October 2018.
