More than 50 foreign air carriers are currently performing flights to Russia, Russian Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev said during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
"For today, 53 air carriers are flying to Russia. From Russia, 14 air carriers are flying to 22 countries, while 27 [air carriers] are flying to us," Savelyev said.
The minister said that Russia’s civilian air fleet lists almost 1,300 planes, 1,163 of them are being used for passenger flights.
