Russia’s airlines have "lost" 76 planes over sanctions, Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev told journalists. This reported by TASS.
"We were caught off guard when they wanted to take the planes. In all, we lost 76 passenger planes which were either on a layover or were preparing for a flight, they were simply arrested," he said.
Savelyev reiterated that Russia is currently using 1,167 passenger aircraft.
