Aeroflot has signed the MoU with China Association of Travel Services and Russian International Tourism Association «World without borders»

 Aeroflot has signed tripartite MoU with China Association of Travel Services and Russian International Tourism Association «World without borders». The signing of the document took place during the General Assembly of The World Tourism Alliance that was held in Hangzhou (PRC) from 14 to 17 of November.

The cooperation envisaged by the MoU is focused on the regime of visa-free travel expansion for tourist groups between both countries and on the improvement of the quality of services.

The parties will recommend Russian and Chinese travel companies to strengthen mutual trust and to join forces for working at the airports of the presence of PJSC Aeroflot.

Travel companies will receive information and organizational support from airline representatives during airport control and formal procedures for passengers.

Aeroflot will consider providing special flight conditions for groups of professional travalers visiting for the purposes of tourism development between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China: employees of travel companies, media representatives, experts and public opinion leaders.

«The MoU, that we are signing today, will allow us significantly expand tourism cooperation between Russia and PRC — noted PJSC Aeroflot Deputy CEO for Commerce and Finance Andrey Сhikhanchin. — Russian and Chinese tourists will receive new opportunities for comfortable visa-free trips, in turn, our airline will provide punctual and safety flights. Focusing on constantly increasing demand, we develop our flight program to PRC, adding new direct flights to the key directions of China not only from Moscow, but also from Russian regions. With the current volume of flights, commercial load reaches 91%, and with the signing of the Memorandum, we are planing on further increase of transportation and will strive for prepandemic numbers. I hope that Aeroflot's air lines will further contribute to strengthening business, tourism and friendly ties between Russia and China."

Let us recall that in this winter seasonal schedule, Aeroflot Group operates regular flights from Moscow to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. On December 23, Aeroflot will resume flights to Hong Kong. Direct flights to Chinese cities from Krasnoyarsk (Beijing, Harbin), Vladivostok (Beijing, Harbin) and Irkutsk (Beijing) are planned from December as a part of the regional program.
