Airports in Russia’s North Caucasus Federal District continue to operate as usual after the recent riots in Dagestan, airport officials told TASS.

The situation is stable in Grozny, Magas, Vladikavkaz and Nalchik.

"No changes have been made to the operations or the security measures," a Nalchik airport representative told TASS.

Any potential changes will be announced. All departures and arrivals at the largest airport in the North Caucasus - in Mineralnye Vody - are happening as scheduled. That’s also the case for Stavropol.

The press service of the Magas airport said that "there’s fake news circulating on the Internet about the arrival of Jewish migrants in Ingushetia."

"We do not take international flights, especially from Israel. We simply do not have such flights. I doubt that people will fly to Ingushetia by taking this complicated route: Israel - Cairo - Moscow - Ingushetia," said airport Director Magomed Tsurov.

He said that students from the region and other residents of Ingushetia fly home from Cairo via Moscow. "Someone clearly wants to blow up the situation in the Caucasus. Today we saw riots in Makhachkala, and tomorrow they will want to do the same in Ingushetia. Therefore, as the airport director responsible for safe flights of our citizens, I urge the Ingush youth not to give in to these appeals by any means: You have fathers and elders. Do not put yourself and other people in danger," he said.
