The company "Air Gates of the Northern Capital", which manages Pulkovo Airport, announces the partnership of the air harbor with the Day of Tourism in St. Petersburg.
From September 23 to 25, with the support of the Committee for the Development of Tourism of St. Petersburg, a multimedia festival is being held in the Northern capital, which will mark the beginning of the autumn-winter tourist season. Pulkovo Airport has become a partner of the festival: it is through the air gates of St. Petersburg that most travelers arrive in the city on the Neva. Participants of the event will be able to win a T-shirt with the corporate code of the airport - LED.
For guests and residents of the city there will be performances by modern bands and shows in the Neva water area, interactive attractions will work. Multimedia installations dedicated to design and architecture, sports and water tourism, new tourist geography will appear on Palace Square. Thanks to 3D-mapping technology, festival visitors will be able to try their hand at the art of design. Everyone who did not have time to participate in SUP carnivals in the summer will be able to do it virtually. There will be a separate area for children with a magical flower slide and light installations.
On September 23 at 20:00 on the stage of Palace Square there will be a colorful light and music show, prize draws, performances by musicians: DJ Naletov and Dizzy Dutch Duck, a show of virtuoso violinists Igor Zalivalov, Sofia Bridge and Is Violin Rock Collective.
On September 24, the bright closing of the 2022 motorcycle season will take place. Gathering of bikers on the Palace Square will start at 11:00. Exhibition zones from city motorcycle clubs will open. Professional athletes will perform for the festival participants. Motorcyclists will show their skills: riding on the back wheel, drifting, rolling and other stunts.
On this day, from 11:15 to 15:00, performances by Sweat, The Spootniks, the December rock band and the EASY DIZZY band will take place. At 15:00 the column of motorcyclists will begin a solemn race through the Central and Admiralteisky districts and return to Palace Square. From 16:00 to 21:00, the Exclusive dance group, Smooth Kats, Denis Kuzmin's Jazz Quartet and Dunaevsky Orchestra will perform on the festival stage. The day will end with an evening light and music show at the Palace Bridge, accompanied by a parade of historical ships.
On Sunday, September 25, the evening program on stage will be complemented by performances by the Dmitry Semenishchev Quartet and Alla Turovskaya, Сorelli String Group and Romas Band.
