Passenger traffic for 8 months of 2022 exceeded the figures for 2021

The Northern Capital Gateway Company, which operates Pulkovo Airport, reports passenger traffic for the period from January 1 to August 31, 2022.

For 8 months of 2022, Pulkovo Airport served 11.9 million passengers. This figure exceeds the passenger traffic for the same period in 2021, equal to 11.6 million people.

10.4 million passengers were served on domestic flights. The most popular destinations in Russia were Moscow, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa, Arkhangelsk, Mineralnye Vody and Murmansk.

More than 1.5 million passengers were served on international routes. The leaders in popularity among international destinations are Antalya, Istanbul, Minsk, Dubai, Tashkent, Osh, Dushanbe, Bishkek, Hurghada and Urgench.
