On September 10, 2022, Southwind Airlines began operating flights on the Antalya – Moscow (Sheremetyevo) – Antalya route to Sheremetyevo International Airport. The airline's flights will be carried out daily on comfortable Airbus A330 and Airbus A321 aircrafts.
Launch of regular flights by Southwind Airlines will help meeting the high demand among Russian passengers on one of the most popular destinations, Moscow-Antalya. Turkey is a country known for a rich history, a well-developed tourist infrastructure and a comfortable mild climate, which allows travelers to enjoy the sea and warm sunny days until late autumn.
Passengers will appreciate the high level of service in the modern Terminal C, where the flights will be operated. The widest range of services is available to travelers of various categories: a mother and child room, an enhanced lounge for passengers with disabilities and one of the largest duty free zones in Russia. Passengers can also use the premium service of the Chagall business lounge and VIP lounge.
Sheremetyevo Handling LLC provides passenger check-in and ground handling for Southwind Airlines at the airport.
At Sheremetyevo, a Southwind Airlines aircraft was traditionally greeted with a water arch. Representatives of the management of Sheremetyevo Airport presented flowers to the crew at the meeting, greeted the passengers of the first flight and wished them an exciting journey.
