Rossiya in partnership with Aurora opens a flight program from Krasnoyarsk

Rossiya Airlines (Aeroflot Group) in partnership with Aurora Airlines launches flights on socially important directions from the Siberian air hub in Krasnoyarsk to the cities of the Far Eastern Federal District: Ulan-Ude, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Yakutsk. Tickets are available for booking on the websites of Aeroflot and Aurora Airlines.

The route network of Rossiya from Krasnoyarsk airport is dynamically expanding. Large-scale flight program of the air carrier from the largest Siberian air hub promotes the development of transit potential of the region, creates additional opportunities for active economic growth as well as development of tourism and social sphere, while emphasizing the consolidating role of Krasnoyarsk in the formation of a common space. Despite its distance from major cities, Krasnoyarsk, located in central part of Russia, is a convenient transport and logistics hub. Growing demand for new destinations confirms the wide demand for the city's airport as an important transit point.

The geographical location of the gateway makes it possible to maintain a constant interest in this point on the flight map of Rossiya among transit passengers. The Krasnoyarsk program of air carrier connects loved ones across the country, allows more people to have a vivid travel experience and promotes the active development of both domestic tourism and the strengthening of business ties.

Improving transport accessibility to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the development of inter-regional air transportation on socially important routes are among the key objectives of Rossiya. Flights from Krasnoyarsk to Ulan-Ude, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Yakutsk are made in accordance with the Russian Government Decree No. 1172 of July 13, 2021 on subsidized flights on socially important routes in the Far Eastern Federal District, which will ensure the affordability of tickets for a wide range of passengers. The expansion of the subsidized flights program will help increase the mobility of the population and address important social and economic issues. Air transport is of particular importance in the life of the region. Aviation is the main means of communication for local residents and guests of the constituent entities of Far Eastern Federal District, and for most settlements it is the only option. For each region there are special conditions that contribute to this point: a huge area, a harsh climate or an island location.

The new flights can be connected with all directions of the airlines' route network from Krasnoyarsk airport. According to the new rules of application of “Light” and “Budget” fares, from August 18 passengers can make a long transit stop (up to 72 hours) in Krasnoyarsk, an intermediate point of travel. Today Rossiya Airlines flies from Krasnoyarsk to 13 domestic and five international destinations, while continuing to expand the geography of its flights. Rossiya flights connect Krasnoyarsk with St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi, Chita, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Mineralnye Vody, Novy Urengoy, Tyumen, Blagoveschensk, Ulan-Ude, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Yakutsk; international destinations include Nur-Sultan and Almaty (Kazakhstan), Osh and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
