The Nordwind Airlines was highly appraised for its performance and has become a diploma holder of the National aviation Award «Wings of Russia»* (Krylia Rossii)* in the «Passenger Transportation from 1 to 6 million passengers/pro year» category upon results of 2021 Business year.

This assessment is the recognition of the fact that Nordwind Airlines continues to successfully execute its extensive program of domestic and international flights.

At the end of 2021, the Nordwind Airlines carried 5,909,139 passengers on its flights**, exceeding the 2019 volumes by 7%.

Due to the route map intensive expansion, the number of airline routes over the past year compared to year 2019 increased by 34%, and reached the new peak of 35,011 flights.

The share of the regular flights in the Nordwind route network in 2021 has increased / raised/ jumped/ reached 74%. The Airline has created a number of regional hubs base airports (in Sochi, Kaliningrad, and Saint Petersburg). Thanks to the growing presence in the regions of Russia, the number of scheduled flights without stop in Moscow has grown up to 60%, while in 2019 this parameter has not exceeded 15%.
