Rescuers have discovered the An-30 plane that went missing in Yakutia, Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations press office told TASS.

"The An-30 plane was discovered 70 kilometers away from the settlement of Olenek during the search and rescue operations. Preliminary, the plane made a hard landing. The people aboard are alive, three required medical aid," the Ministry said.

A source in emergency services told TASS that the plane landed about 14 km short of the airstrip.

On Wednesday, the An-30 plane en route from Yakutsk to Olenek disappeared from radars. The last contact was made about 30 km away from Olenek. The plane carried seven people and 6.3 tonnes of cargo.
