A military plane crashed in the Belgorod Region in western Russia, with a pilot ejecting to safety, a source in law enforcement agencies told TASS on Friday.
"The air crash occurred in the Korochansky district. According to preliminary information, the plane touched an electric power transmission line and fell onto the ground. The pilot managed to eject and is alive," the source said.
The plane went ablaze went hitting the ground and disintegrated, the source added.
"There are no victims or destruction on the ground," the source said. The causes of the air crash are being established, he added.
