Aeroflot has triumphed in the key nomination of Wings of Russia, National Airline Award named after Evgueny Chibirev winning the Russian Airline of the Year – Passenger Choice title. The 2021 award ceremony was held in Moscow.

The winner in the category was determined by passengers’ online voting running on the award’s website 10 January through 30 April 2022. Aeroflot was recognized as the Russian Airline of the Year – Passenger Choice for the second year in a row.

The airline has also received a special prize 'For contribution to the development of air transport' to highlight the flag carrier’s role in the Russian air travel market. The awards in this category have been given to the airlines that greatly contributed to developing civil aviation as well as providing connectivity and accessibility across Russian regions.

Over the past 25 years, the Wings of Russia Awards has earned a reputation of a welcome mark of recognition from the professional community and passengers.
