Starting from 23 April, Aeroflot will open direct regular flights from Sheremetyevo Airport to Kazakhstan. Rossiya Airlines will operate flights to Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Aktau, Atyrau, Aktobe, and Karaganda. Flights will be operated on domestically made Superjet 100 aircraft.

Following the launch of direct services from Moscow, the schedule of flights to points of Kazakhstan from Sochi has been amended.
From 7 to 22 April, Sochi – Aktau/Atyrau/Aktobe flights have been cancelled. Passengers booked on these flights are offered either:
- Departure to/from Moscow at a later date, or
- Ticket refund.
From 23 April, flights between Sochi and cities of Kazakhstan (Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Aktau, Atyrau, Aktobe) will be cancelled. Passengers who purchased transportation from/to Sochi on these routes can alternatively take direct flights from/to Moscow.
Aeroflot continues to develop the program of international flights from Sochi on Superjet 100 aircraft. This season, regular flights by Rossiya Airlines are scheduled from the Sochi hub to Turkey (Istanbul, Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman), Israel (Tel Aviv), Egypt (Cairo), Armenia (Yerevan), and Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, Urgench).
