Two Russian Tu-95 performed planned flight over the neutral waters Barents, Norwegian Seas and the northeastern Atlantic Ocean

Fighter escort was provided by the crews of MiG-31 aircraft of the air force and air defence formation of the Northern Fleet.

During the flight, the crews of Tu-95 aircraft worked out refueling in the air.

The flight duration was about 15 hours.

At some stages of the route, Russian strategic missile carriers were accompanied by Eurofighter Typhoon fighters of the British Air Force.

Long-range aviation crews regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, the North Atlantic, the Black and Baltic Seas, and the Pacific Ocean.

All flights of the aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces are carried out in strict accordance with the International rules for the use of airspace.
