Moscow is going to respond to the ban on flights of Russian airlines symmetrically but taking into account its own interests, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday. This reported by TASS.
"Of course, there will be a response, which will be guided by the principle of reciprocity, and our own interests definitely will be at the forefront," the Kremlin spokesman noted.
On February 25, the UK was the first country to close its airspace for Russia. On February 27, the top diplomats of 27 EU states approved the complete closure of the organization’s airspace for Russian planes.
