The Canadian authorities have decided to close the country's airspace to Russian aviation. This was announced on Sunday on Twitter by the Canadian Minister of Transport Omar Alghabra.

"From now on, Canada's airspace is closed to all Russian aircraft operators. We will hold Russia accountable for unprovoked attacks on Ukraine," he wrote.
