Passenger traffic of Pulkovo Airport since the beginning of the year exceeded 17 million people

Since the beginning of 2022, the passenger traffic of Pulkovo Airport has been showing steady growth. Today, December 7, on International Civil Aviation Day, the number of passengers served since the beginning of the year has exceeded 17 million people.

The most popular destinations in Russia during this period were: Moscow, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa, Arkhangelsk, Mineralnye Vody and Samara.

Since the beginning of the year, the most popular international destinations have been: Antalya, Istanbul, Minsk, Dubai, Tashkent, Osh, Dushanbe, Yerevan, Bishkek and Hurghada.

The international route network of Pulkovo Airport has increased since the beginning of the year due to the development of the Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Thus, starting from October 30, SCAT Airlines launched flights to Astana from Pulkovo Airport, from November 1, AlMasria Universal Airlines launched flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, from November 3, AZUR air launched flights to Sri Lanka (Colombo), from December 15, Emirates will increase the frequency of flights to Dubai from four to seven per week, from January 20, 2023, Flydubai will launch daily flights to Dubai from Pulkovo for the first time. As part of the winter schedule, Pegasus Airlines increased the frequency of flights to Istanbul up to 7 flights a week, Turkish Airlines operates flights to Istanbul 14 times a week, to Antalya - 4 times a week, from December 16 and 17, Aeroflot will launch flights to Istanbul and Antalya .
