Smartavia carries 10 millionth passenger since rebranding

Smartavia has carried its 10 millionth passenger today since the rebranding began in March 2019. The ceremony honoring the jubilee passenger took place today at Pulkovo Airport.

Olga Khabirova, marketer, photographer from St. Petersburg, having become the 10 millionth passenger of Smartavia, did not hide her joy in the light of spotlights and jupiters in the departure hall at check-in for Smartavia's flight to Kazan.

The anniversary passenger of Smartavia was congratulated at Pulkovo Airport by Denis Pomerantsev, Deputy Director General of the airline, and Asiyat Khalvashi, Director of Aviation Commerce at Pulkovo. From the airline, Olga Khabirova was presented with an award certificate for any flight by Smartavia, from Pulkovo Airport - a certificate for visiting the business lounge of the St. Petersburg air harbor and memorable gifts.

“This event will go down in the history of the airline as proof of the correctness of the strategy, which has been put into practice by the daily work of all employees of the airline and its passengers since March 2019, when we announced the rebranding of the company,” said Denis Pomerantsev, Deputy CEO of Smartavia .

Pulkovo Airport occupies a leading position among the three Smartavia base airports in terms of passenger traffic.

“The 10 millionth Smartavia passenger served at Pulkovo is a good example of long-standing and reliable cooperation between our airline and Northern Capital Gateway,” said D. Pomerantsev.

– Smartavia is a reliable partner of Pulkovo, which is steadily developing the airport's route network and is one of the leaders in terms of traffic among Russian airlines. Today, the carrier operates flights to 15 destinations within the framework of the winter schedule and increases the frequency on the directions of Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg. The number of passengers on the airline's flights from Pulkovo Airport in the first 10 months of 2022 exceeded last year's figures. We are sure that thanks to the development of the route network and convenient services for passengers, Smartavia will retain its leading position,” said Asiyat Khalvashi, Director of Aviation Commerce at Northern Capital Gateway LLC .

On board the aircraft, the jubilee passenger was greeted by the crew of Smartavia.
