The United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC "UAC") presented the newest MC-21 airliner at the international design festival Design Act 2022. A model of an aircraft with domestic PD-14 engines is on display at the exhibition in the section dedicated to the future. This is reported by the press service of the UAC in the official Telegram channel.

As noted in the message, a model of the Tu-144 aircraft is presented in the historical part of the exhibition. In addition, specialists of the Irkut Corporation engineering Center took part in the panel discussion "Do only beautiful planes fly well?", where they presented their vision of the role of design in modern civil aircraft construction.

According to the press service of the UAC, the corporation acted as one of the industrial partners of the Open Competition of Industrial Design and Innovative Projects Design Act 2022. The competition is held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

The competition is organized within the framework of the International Festival of Industrial Design Design Act and the project "Locomotives of Growth", which is supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. Within the framework of the competition, several events are planned at the site of the Vinzavod Center for Contemporary Art, in particular, an exhibition dedicated to the history and future of industrial design in Russia is being held.

Also, within the framework of the competition, with the participation of the UAC, specialized case studies on the aviation industry were organized.
