Pulkovo Airport announces the launch of a large-scale transportation program between the cities of the Far East and St. Petersburg with the Red Wings airline.
A regular direct flight from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok by Red Wings Airlines will appear in the summer schedule of Pulkovo Airport. From the air harbor of Primorye, Red Wings will also launch new regular flights to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The air carrier will operate flights on Boeing 777-200 and SSJ100 aircraft.
The first flight on the route St. Petersburg - Vladivostok is scheduled for June 1, 2022. Departures will be carried out twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. The total travel time from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg will be 8 hours 20 minutes.
It should be noted that flights between St. Petersburg and Vladivostok will be subsidized under Government Decree No. 215, which will allow certain categories of Russians - residents of the Far East, youth, pensioners, the disabled, large families - to purchase tickets at reduced prices.
From June 1, flights from Vladivostok to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky will be operated daily, while flights to Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk will be operated twice a day.
