Pilots of the army aviation regiment stationed in the Novosibirsk region, of the air force and air defence formation of the Central Military District performed the first training flights in 2022 on Mi-24 attack helicopters and Mi-8 transport and combat helicopters.

During the training flights, the crews practiced take-off, maneuvering in the air and landing of aircraft.

In the course of further training, the crews will have to master the elements of complex aerobatics: piloting at extremely low and maximum permissible altitudes, maneuvering during training air combat.

The training flights involved 6 Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters, more than 80 military personnel from among the flight and engineering personnel.
