Wizz Air resumes regular flights to Budapest from Kazan

On 9 September Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in the Central and Eastern Europe and partner of Kazan International airport, resumes regular flights on Budapest – Kazan – Budapest route. The capital of the Republic of Tatarstan will be the third Russian city, after Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, where Wizz Air will start operating flights after the pandemic.

Flights will be operated every Thursday by Airbus A320 aircrafts. It’s currently working on increasing numbers of flights in the future. The timetable is convenient both tourists and business representatives:

- Departure from Kazan at 18:40 with arrival in Budapest at 21:15;
- Departure from Budapest at 13:40, landing at Kazan airport at 18:05.

The local time is indicated for each airport. Summer time in Hungary is 1 hour behind Moscow time.

The resumption of direct flights between major transport hubs such as Budapest and Kazan will at the same time give an additional motivation to the development of business activity.
