Russia’s radars in just one week spotted 83 foreign aircraft on reconnaissance missions near Russia’s borders, the Defense Ministry’s daily Krasnaya Zvezda said on Friday.
According to the daily’s infographics, 63 crewed planes and 20 drones were involved in reconnaissance flights along the border.
On one occasion an air defense fighter was scrambled to prevent an intrusion. Russian radars tracked all flights. No violations of the airspace were permitted.
