Pulkovo Airport served over 11,000 passengers on flights between St. Petersburg and Belgrade

The Northern Capital Gateway company, which operates Pulkovo Airport, reports a 49% increase in passenger traffic to Belgrade in three summer months compared to the same period in 2019.

Since the restrictions were lifted in the three summer months of 2021, Pulkovo Airport has served more than 11 thousand passengers for arrival and departure in the direction of Belgrade, which is 49% more than in the same period in 2019. More than 20 flights are expected to be operated by the end of the summer season (October 30, 2021). Further, the flight schedule will be updated.

Recall that the first resumed flight between St. Petersburg and Belgrade on June 8, 2021 was operated by Air Serbia.

Air traffic between St. Petersburg and the capital of Serbia - Belgrade - has been developing since 2016. Today it is provided by three airlines: twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the national carrier of Serbia - Air Serbia, as well as Nordwind and Aeroflot - once a week on Wednesdays.

Belgrade is one of the most ancient cities in Europe. Among its main attractions are historical districts and architectural structures, such as the National Museum of Serbia, the Belgrade Fortress, the New and Old Palace, "White Dvor", the Residence of Prince Milos and others. Serbian cuisine and nature deserve special attention. In winter, tourists are especially interested in the balneological and ski resorts in Serbia.
