Kazan Airport has improved its position in the world ratings of Skytrax 2021

Kazan International Airport has improved its position in several international ratings of the world famous British company Skytrax. Kazan airport took the 4th place in the category of “Best Airports in Russia and CIS 2021” and was ahead of the capital's Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports.

Kazan International Airport moved to 89th line and improved its position by 14 points (it took 103rd place in 2020) in the rating of "TOP-100 airports in the world" (World's Top 100 Airports 2021).

Kazan International Airport is also included in the list of Outstanding Airports in the World 2021 to Resist COVID-19 (The 2021 COVID-19 Airport Excellence Awards) along with such leaders of the global airport industry as Barcelona Airport, Changi (Singapore), Dubai, Hong Kong, Istanbul, London Heathrow and others.

General Director of JSC Kazan International Airport Sergey Romantsov noticed:

“Because of being in a very competitive group of airports, we constantly develop and introduce high-tech equipment, improve the quality of services provided and offer our passengers innovative types of services.

For example, a lot of work has been done in terms of updating the navigation in the airport complex. New shops and catering outlets have been opened. The airport's mobile application has received new software modules that allow, without direct contact with airport employees and other passengers to pay for parking, buy an air ticket, book a hotel room or visit a business lounge, fill out an application for lost baggage and much more. It is especially important during the period of covid-19.

Therefore, we can confidently say that the airport has reached a new level of interaction with passengers.
