Since the beginning of the year, the airport has served 2 000 000 passengers and it happened 7 days earlier than it was in 2019 which is a record result in the company’s history.

The air hub also demonstrates monthly passenger traffic figures which are regarded as record ones: in July 2021, 462 469 passengers were served on departures and arrivals - it is the first time in the history of Kazan airport that such a high monthly figure has been achieved. 314 659 passengers were served on domestic flights and 147 810 passengers on international flights.

In comparison, the previous record month was August 2019, when monthly passenger traffic was 397 885 passengers during WorldSkills Kazan 2019.

Steady growth in traffic volumes is recorded throughout 2021. For example, among popular federal (domestic) destinations during the first 7 months are Saint-Petersburg 222 817 passengers or +68% ( hereinafter in comparison with the same period in 2019) and Sochi 194 521 passengers or +129% , among international destinations – Istanbul 45 771 passengers or +30,3%.
