ISS orbit altitude correction postponed on US side request

The International Space Station orbit correction originally scheduled for the morning of August 19, 2021, has been postponed to the margin date of August 21 at the request of the American side.

The request came to the TsNIIMash Mission Control Center (part of Roscosmos) from the US Flight Director due to technical unreadiness of the American segment of the ISS.

Currently, the 65th expedition crew is working at the International Space Station consisting of Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Novitskiy and Pyotr Dubrov, NASA astronauts Mark Vande Hei, Shane Kimbrough and Megan MacArthur, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Akihiko Hoshide (station commander), as well as European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet.
