More than 20 aircraft of foreign countries were relocated to the Dyagilevo airfield in Ryazan, including J-10 and J-16 fighters, H-6 long-range bombers, Y-9 and Y-20 military transport aircraft of the People's Liberation Army of China, as well as Su-25 attack aircraft, Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters of the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus.
The air crews have completed the flight from their bases and will participate in the competition on their standard equipment.
In addition, military transport aircraft also delivered engineering personnel and ground equipment for servicing aircraft.
During the preparation and holding of the Aviadarts 2021 competition, all the necessary measures were organized to prevent viral diseases.
The international competition of flight crews Aviadarts 2021 will be held in the Ryazan region from 22 August to 4 September. The competition involves the Dyagilevo airfield and the Dubrovichi training ground. Teams of the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation are participating. There are about 60 crews in total.
Pilots will compete in the following elements of the competition: physical training, visual aerial reconnaissance, piloting techniques, navigation. The final stage will be the combat use of aircraft weapons against ground targets. The crews will perform practical launches of unguided aircraft missiles, bombing and firing from aircraft guns.
The test is held in seven nominations for the types of aviation: fighter aircraft, attack aircraft, bomber aircraft, long-range aircraft, military transport aviation, army aviation in combat and army aviation in transport and combat helicopters.
