The Northern Capital Gateway company, which manages Pulkovo Airport, announces the resumption of direct regular flights of Wizz Air from St. Petersburg to Budapest. Flights will be operated twice a week.

Wizz Air, the fastest growing airline in Europe, will resume direct scheduled flights between St. Petersburg and Budapest from 14 August. Flights will be operated twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Since July 27, 2021, the Hungarian government has allowed entry into the country for Russian citizens who have a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19.

Wizz Air recalls that there is a risk of changes in the relevant immigration regulations from the date of purchase and the date of travel. Passengers are required to check existing travel restrictions with the relevant authorities to ensure they are eligible to enter the country.

In 2019, Wizz Air carried 82,000 passengers between St. Petersburg and Budapest. The carrier began operating flights from Pulkovo to the capital of Hungary on August 27, 2017.
