Crews of two strategic missile carriers Tu-160 of the Aerospace Forces, during a long-range aviation tactical flight exercise, flew from Chukotkato the Saratov Region, covering more than 8 thousand kilometers.

The flight route passed over the water area of the Arctic Ocean, the East Siberian and Kara seas, within the borders of the Russian Federation.

During the flight, the crews of Tu-160 aircraft performed air-to-air refueling.

Earlier, two crews of Tu-160 strategic missile carriers flew from the Saratov region to the Anadyr airfield.  The flight crew performed a non-stop flight from the deployment airfield, covering about 7 thousand kilometers.  The flight duration was a little more than 8 hours.
