Pulkovo passenger traffic in January-May increased by 1.5 times

The passenger traffic at Pulkovo Airport (St. Petersburg) in January-May 2021 amounted to 5.571 million people.

In January-May 2020, Pulkovo Airport served 3.715 million passengers. Thus, the growth of passenger traffic in the first five months of this year amounted to 50%.

According to the Northern Capital Air Gateway LLC (operator Pulkovo), in January-May 2019, 6.779 million passengers were served. Thus, to the level of the dock year, the indicator decreased by 18%.

Pulkovo is one of the five largest airports in the Russian Federation. The largest shareholders of VVSS are VTB, Germany's Fraport and Qatar's Qatar Investment Authority. The base carrier is Rossiya Airlines.
