Ural Airlines is opening a new linear aircraft maintenance station, as well as its own warehouse complexes at Pulkovo airport, St. Petersburg. The planned volume of work by the end of the year will amount to 8,959.5 h / h.
Expansion of the network of maintenance stations will allow not only to maintain the regularity of flights, to maintain the planned schedule, but also to completely exclude the participation of subcontract organizations, which are not always able to maintain a high rate and quality of work to ensure a high level of flight safety.
In August last year, despite a difficult pandemic period, the airline opened a linear service station and a warehouse complex at Zhukovsky airport. The current volume of work performed is 3,095.14 h / h. The planned volume of work by the end of 2021 is 3,752.83 h / h.
Also, starting in August 2020, the maintenance station at Domodedovo airport completed works in the amount of 50,780.31 h / h and announced a complete refusal to participate in subcontracting companies. Now the entire scope of maintenance work is performed only by the airline specialists.
Continuous improvement of maintenance standards is a constant priority in the work of the airline and a condition for development.
