Gazpromneft-Aero, the aviation fuel operator of Gazprom Neft, has expanded its international sales network to 300 airports with the launch of refuelling at Birmingham Airport in the UK.
The addition of Birmingham Airport where it served a Ural Airlines-operated cargo flight in in the UK takes its total of airports in Europe to 86 as the leading Russian aviation fuel operator continues to grow.
In Q1 2021, Gazpromneft-Aero sold more than 22 thousand tons of jet fuel when refuelling freighter and cargo-only passenger flights at foreign airports, exceeding the 2020 and 2019 results by 2.6 times and 3.8 times respectively.
