In the Krasnodar territory, a tactical exercise was held with the anti-aircraft missile unit of the air defence of the Southern Military District (SMD), which is armed with S-300V4 anti-aircraft missile systems.

Crews and control units made a march to the area of the conditional missile launches. On the route, the servicemen repelled the attack of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the mock enemy, overcame the infected area, and fulfilled a number of special standards.

Then the personnel performed the deployment of launchers, worked out electronic launches of missiles at air targets simulating air attack means in one of the districts of the Krasnodar territory.

The S-300V4 air defence system has absorbed all the promising developments of the domestic military-industrial complex. It has unique characteristics that ensure the conduct of both air and missile defence, and is able to successfully combat all types of medium-range missiles existing in the world.
