Serbian and Belarusian servicemen conducted first training with landing from MI-8 AMTSh Terminator helicopters

As part of the preparation of the joint Russian-Belarusian-Serbian tactical exercise Slavic Brotherhood-2021, servicemen of the special forces unit of the Armed Forces of Serbia and a separate guards airborne unit of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus practiced landing of personnel using guided parachute systems of the Krylo type and parachute-free landing on ropes from Mi-8 AMTSh helicopters.

Before the landing, servicemen from Russia, Belarus and Serbia underwent prejump training on the simulators of the airborne complex of the Guards Kuban Cossack regiment of the Novorossiysk airborne assault mountain formation of the Airborne Troops.

The landing of servicemen on special-purpose parachute systems was carried out at the Raevsky training ground from a height of 2,000 meters.  Parachute-free landing on the site was practiced from a height of 25 meters on special ropes from a position of hovering in the air, five servicemen at a time.

After landing, the servicemen practiced the procedure for organizing the defence of the landing area of the units.

Before the start of the active phase, the servicemen of the consolidated unit will coordinate the joint unit during training for the subsequent development of practical actions as part of a multinational tactical group.
