In connection with Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine, putting into effect the decision of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated April 2, 2021 on imposition of sanctions on a number of companies, and incorrect information that those sanctions apply to Volga-Dnepr Group which appeared in various media, we inform you that:

The above-mentioned sanction restrictions have been imposed on “VOLGA-DNEPR MM XVI” LLC, Primary State Registration Number: 1167746124875, Tax Payer ID: 7716815864, located at 109 Building 1 Yaroslavskoye Shosse, Moscow, Russia 129337, which is clearly stated in the applicable Executive Order of the President of Ukraine.

This entity is NOT a part of Volga-Dnepr Group, it is NOT our partner, and its activity has NOTHING to do with Volga-Dnepr Group. Therefore, the sanctions imposed affect neither our Group, nor the companies it is composed of, including without limitation Volga-Dnepr Airlines LLC.

We appeal to information publications to keep in mind that dissemination of incorrect information may have a negative effect on business of the companies you mention and to treat such information more carefully. We’re hoping that diligent media will take action to clear up the situation to their readers.
