Russia’s Transport Ministry is preparing justification for compensations to the airlines for a potential profit loss after cancellation of flights to Turkey, the ministry said in a statement. This reported by PRIME.
"The Transport Ministry of Russia is preparing justification of the need to compensate the airlines for an income shortfall for the flights to Turkey in the period from April 15 until June 1. A draft order is being prepared," the ministry said.
Russia suspended air travel with Turkey from April 15 through June 1 due to the growth of COVID-19 cases in the country.
