The crews of multi role fighter-bombers Su-34 of the Central Military Districts (CMD) destroyed the airfield and aircraft of the mock enemy at the exercise, which ended at the training ground in Kurgan region in frameworks of the control check for the winter training period.
During the exercise the Su-34 crews approached the combat area and launched single missiles at the ground targets. In order to destroy the airfield facilities and aircraft of the mock enemy the fighter-bombers launched unguided missiles S-13 of the air-surface class acting from different directions and altitudes. Apart from that the crews practiced the anti missile maneuvers, extreme low altitudes flights and maneuver combat elements with interception of the training air targets.
All practical actions of pilots were recorded by means of objective control, which are installed on combat aircraft, as well as on the ground in the area of combat use. The analysis of the obtained data showed a complete defeat of all targets.
12 Su-34 fighter-bombers, more than 200 military personnel from among the flight, engineering and technical personnel, flight control and support groups were involved in the flight-tactical exercise, which was held as part of the control check.
