The crews of the Ka-52 Alligator, Mi-28N Night Hunter, Mi-35M and Mi-8 AMTSh Terminator helicopters of the Southern Military District  launched a missile strike at targets at the airfield in the Krasnodar Territory. The shooting took place as part of the qualifying stage of the Aviadarts professional skill competition of the International Army Games 2021.

With the help of unguided missiles and cannon armament, the pilots destroyed a military convoy, a group of aircraft at the airfield and the command post of the mock enemy. In total, over 200 different targets were hit, which accounted for more than 100 missiles and about 1,000 shells of a 30-mm aircraft cannon. When completing the task, the crews had to operate at an extremely low altitude, using the difficult terrain.

About 50 crews of the army aviation of the Southern Military District were involved in combat firing.
