From March 28, 2021, Turkish Airlines will resume flights from Ankara to Vnukovo International Airport. The flights are planned to be operated by the subsidiary airline Anadolujet regularly, three times a week. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays - from Ankara (Esenboga) to Moscow (Vnukovo). On Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays - from Moscow (Vnukovo) to Ankara (Esenboga). The airline uses Boeing 737 aircraft for this route which is 3 hours 5 minutes long. Tickets are on sale now.
Anton Kuznetsov, Deputy General Director for Commerce at Vnukovo International Airport, noted: "We are glad that our partner, Turkish Airlines, is restoring its route network, and regular flights to Ankara are resumed. I am sure that passengers will appreciate all the airline's and Vnukovo airports' advantages and use our services more often. We wish all passengers a comfortable flight and a soft landing! "
During check-in, passengers traveling to Turkey received branded chocolate and souvenirs from Vnukovo airport as a gift.
