In the North Caucasus, the crews of the army aviation of the Southern Military District conducted a tactical flight exercise with live fire.

While performing tactical flight missions, the pilots of the Mi-28N Night Hunter attack helicopters performed combat support and fire support for the Mi-8AMTSh Terminator helicopters, which carried out the landing of special forces groups in the rear of the mock enemy.

In addition, the pilots practiced the elements of complex aerobatics, simulating air combat at low altitudes, as well as avoiding the strike of a simulated enemy while simultaneously suppressing his radar systems, and interacting with ground services during flight missions.

In total, 10 helicopters are involved in the exercise, more than 150 servicemen of the Southern Military District are taking part in it.
