Russia and India are holding talks on the upgrade of Il-76 transport aircraft

Russia and India are holding talks on the upgrade of Il-76 transport aircraft in service with the Indian Air Force, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) told TASS.

"We are holding consultations on the upgrade of operating airplanes of the Il-76 family," a UAC spokesperson says.

UAC is also ready to consider the opportunity of renewing the fleet of Il-78 aerial tankers made on the Il-76 base, the corporation added.
