Сrews of Su-34 fighters of the Southern Military District carried out bombing operations in the South of Russia

The pilots of the Su-34 multipurpose fighter-bombers of the Southern Military District (SMD) have worked out complex aerobatic elements and bombing at the training ground in the Rostov region.

During the flight day, the crews of the Su-34 multipurpose fighter-bombers of the mixed aviation regiment worked out the elements of complex piloting, moving at a speed of up to 1,900 km/h.   During the flight, the crews performed turns at the maximum and afterburner modes of the engine, diving, ascending spiral, as well as combat turns and "barrels" at an altitude of up to six thousand meters.

In the course of the tasks, the pilots used the Khibiny electronic suppression systems, which allowed them to overcome the air defence system of a mock enemy.

In total, ten Su-34 fighter-bombers, 15 units of ground equipment and about 100 military personnel from the flight crew, flight management group, ground and technical support were involved in training flights.
