Total passenger traffic by the airports of the Moscow aviation hub (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo) down by 45.4% in January 2021 to 3.887 mln people, according to the data of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) published on the agency's website.
By the end of January 2021, Domodedovo served more passengers than the historically largest Russian airport Sheremetyevo. In particular, Domodedovo served 1.457 million people, a decrease of 30.6% year-on-year, Sheremetyevo served 1.337 million people, down 60.3% year-on-year.
